Galvolam® Grid is a latest-generation laminated glass. It may consist of two or more sheets of glass. The sheets of glass are bonded with safety films with very high tear strength. Galvolam®‘s structure can be adapted to the specific safety requirements of the intended use. In case of breakage, the glass fragments are held in place by the safety film and not dispersed in the surrounding environment.
The Galvolam® Grid collection is now extended with the new metallised meshes with grid size 55 and 45. Metallised meshes with grid size 55 are generally bonded to glass for use for kitchen backsplashes and furniture, while for doors and partition walls grid size 45 provides the right degree of transparency and shine.
Colours and characteristics
Meshes are available with five different metallised finishes: gold, silver, bronze, copper and graphite.
Meshes weigh three times less than the equivalent metal.
